The use of big data, their analysis and transformation into useful information for mobility and urban safety are among the goals of Milano Smart City project. During the meeting, “MOBI_LOM_AI” will be introduced as co-financed project by the Lombardy ERDF and by the Lombardy Region Tech fast, with whom it is intended to create a digital platform for data collection from mobile sensors, with an important change compared to the collection data from fixed sensors. The big data collected by the growing number of sensors installed on board the vehicles circulating daily in the city together with the technologies that allow the transmission of information via the cloud, the aggregation and analysis of such information remotely using Artificial Intelligence algorithms, Computer Vision and Machine Learning, will give a huge boost to sustainable mobility for the future of the city. The meeting is part of the Milan Digital Week 2022 calendar.
